We feel your excitement to be part of ApiaryBuzz, however you may also be having several questions on how an online survey panel works, what are surveys, who pays for these surveys, what you are expected to do and what you will get in return. Here’re a few common questions we receive:

WHAT IS APIARYBUZZ?

ApiaryBuzz is an online community for residents like you to share opinion on a variety of issues that matter, by participating in market research surveys and polls. By participating in these surveys, members of ApiaryBuzz get to earn rewards and drive positive changes by helping organisations to improve their policies, products and services. Anyone aged 18 and above is eligible to join for free.

IS IT FREE TO JOIN APIARYBUZZ?

Joining ApiaryBuzz is absolutely free! There is no charge to be a member or to redeem points.

WHY SHOULD I BECOME A MEMBER OF APIARYBUZZ?

If you believe that Your Opinion Matters, aspire to influence the products and services that you use in your daily life, then you should be a part of ApiaryBuzz. Through our surveys and polls, ApiaryBuzz enables you to share your opinion and influence decision makers. What’s more, your opinion will earn you attractive rewards! Each survey you participate in will help you earn reward points and a variety of gifts.

DO I HAVE TO BUY OR SUBSCRIBE TO ANYTHING?

No. ApiaryBuzz conducts only legitimate consumer and public opinion surveys. You will not be asked to buy or subscribe to anything.

WHY ARE SURVEYS CONDUCTED?

Businesses, governments, public bodies and organisations are interested in the opinion and attitude of people who use their products and services. The more they know about what customers, potential customers, citizens and consumers think, the easier it is for them to improve and adapt what they supply to meet public needs. We conduct surveys and polls about products, brands, public affairs and other topics of interest, to help organisations make better decisions and improve their products and services.

HOW DOES APIARYBUZZ MAKE MONEY?

ApiaryBuzz caters to organisations and market research companies seeking authentic consumer opinion. We help them by delivering your opinion on issues related to their products or services and are remunerated  accordingly for this service by the companies. Our members are in turn, rewarded for their time for participating in each survey.

JOINING APIARYBUZZ

HOW DO I JOIN AS A MEMBER? 

Simple. Register with us via our website or by downloading our app. Proceed to fill up your details on our registration page.  

If you are 17 or younger, do ask your parent or guardian to register as a member instead so you can take part in the surveys via them. 

 

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I REGISTER / SIGN-UP? 

After you sign up, here’re a few steps to go through before your account is fully verified.  

    1. You will receive an email to verify your email. Click on the link emailed to you or copy it into the address bar of your browser to confirm your email. Please note that this is only to verify your email and does not indicate verification of your account. If you have not received any email, kindly check your Spam folder or refer to Troubleshooting section of this FAQ.
    2. Log in to complete your profile information. Upon completion, you get to receive some reward points and access surveys to earn even more points.
    3. To complete the verification process, go to ‘Settings’ and click ‘Postal Verification Code’ to trigger your unique code. We will mail the code to your address within 30 days after verifying your details, for which you may receive a verification call.
    4. Input your unique code in the same field to verify it. Your screen will show ‘Postal Address Verified’ upon successful verification.

We do a thorough verification of all accounts at the registration stage, as we want to give all our members of this community a positive experience and hence we do not encourage any unsolicited accounts or individuals. 

 

WHAT IF I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY VERIFICATION EMAIL? 

Please ensure that you have input your correct email address in your ApiaryBuzz Honeycomb Account. In addition, please check your Spam folder and add ApiaryBuzz into your safe senders list to avoid emails from landing in your Spam folder.

WHAT CAN I DO TO ENSURE MY ACCOUNT IS VERIFIED QUICKLY? 

To ensure that we can process your account verification faster, please update your Honeycomb account with these records: After you log in to the ApiaryBuzz app, click on the “Setting” tab, select “Buzzer Profile” to update the records.  

Please note there are 4 tabs – BASIC, PERSONAL, HOUSEHOLD, REDEEM, please scroll left to update and complete all the tabs in your Honeycomb account.  

Your FULL mailing address, Name as per ID and bank account details can be updated under the REDEEM tab.  

These fields are required not just to verify your account, but also to send you any vouchers or make any cash payments.  

Kindly note that if your Buzzer profile is not updated within 1 month, we may have to deactivate the account and you will need to buzz us to activate it again. 

 

CAN I STILL USE APIARYBUZZ WHILE YOU ARE VERIFYING MY ACCOUNT? 

Yes, while we are verifying your information and identity, you can still access your account and update the rest of your account information. 

You can also login and complete profile surveys which span various topics, and are designed to understanding your interests better, as they help us to send you more surveys and more relevant surveys. There may also be other surveys which are open for all members to fill up, and you can complete those surveys. You may also earn points or rewards for these surveys, if any rewards are mentioned at the beginning of the survey. Once your account is verified, you will be allowed to redeem these points after verification. 

 

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY ACCOUNT IS VERIFIED? 

After you’ve verified your Postal Address successfully (under ‘Settings’ > ‘Postal Address Verification’), your screen will show ‘Postal Address Verified’ as an indication that your account is fully verified.

If you sign up during a promotional period, when a reward / voucher / cash / reward points is given on registration, then the welcome letter / email will notify you about the specific reward, within 30 working days of the verification.  

    • If it is a physical voucher, the voucher, along with the welcome letter, will be mailed by post / courier to you within 30 working days after the account verification.
    • If it is an e-voucher, you can go to “Redeem” tab and click “Redeemed” to check on the status of your sign-up reward, within 30 working days after the account verification. You will be notified about thee-voucher with a welcome letter via email. 
    • If it a cash reward, it will be transferred into your PayPal account or digital wallet within 30 business days after account verification. You will be notified about the cash transfer with a welcome letter via email. 
    • If it is reward points, it will reflect in your Honeycomb account within 30 business days after account verification. You will be notified about the point allocation with a welcome letter via email. 

Please note that such vouchers / cash / points for registration are only provided during promotional periods only. 

 

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER MY ACCOUNT IS VERIFIED? 

After that, we’ll contact you periodically by app notifications to take the survey. Once you complete the survey you’ll have the opportunity to earn reward points,vouchers and other rewards. 

You need to download our app in order to receive notifications and complete surveys on the go. Or, you can complete surveys via our web portal with proper internet connection. 

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ACCOUNT IS NOT VERIFIED? 

If you do not verify your Postal Address (under ‘Settings’ > ‘Postal  Address Verification’) to complete your verification process, you will not be able to redeem any rewards even after earning enough points for redemption. This is necessary for us to verify your information and identity before giving any rewards to you.

I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY VOUCHERS OR REWARDS AFTER SIGN UP? 

Our sign-up reward only runs during the promotional period, so most chances are you have signed up after it has ended.

If you have signed up during the promotional period, your account requires at least 30 working days to verify, so please write in to us if you have not received the voucher after 30 working days of joining ApiaryBuzz. 

Once your account is verified by our team, the voucher will be shown in your Honeycomb account under “Redeem” tab and you can click “REDEEMED” to check on the status of your sign-up reward. 

CAN OTHER MEMBERS OF MY HOUSEHOLD ALSO JOIN APIARYBUZZ? 

We only allow two members per household to register with ApiaryBuzz. The members who join should be the persons who want to take most surveys. The good news is that other members of your family can still take our surveys! Look for invitations asking for opinion from “the teen in your household” or “the person who recently bought a headphone in the household” or “the male in your household”, etc., and ask the appropriate family member to respond. Any rewards and prizes other family members earn will be added to your account. 

In case more than 2 members of the same household join ApiaryBuzz, we will notify all the individuals in the household, and leave the decision to the family to decide which account will be closed. 

 

HOW DO I INVITE MY FAMILY & FRIENDS TO BECOME A MEMBER OF APIARYBUZZ? 

Your account has a Referral Code mentioned in your profile, please share the referral code with your friends and family to join ApiaryBuzz. Please ensure your friends enter the referral code when they register with us, in the first page of the registration page. In return, you will be rewarded with points which will be directly credited into your Honeycomb account after your referred friends have completed their panel profile and Basic Profiler survey.

 

WHY DO I NEED TO FILL OUT MY PROFILES? 

Profiles are sets of questions that allow us to learn more about you, your preferences, purchases and daily habits. We then evaluate this information and determine your qualification for surveys. We have more than 25 different profile surveys based on various topics, some or all of which may interest you. Topics vary and include general questions about profession, electronics, household, travel, beauty and more. Please take some time to fill up these profile surveys, as they will help you receive more survey opportunities. However, we can’t guarantee participation should you complete all your profile surveys as qualification depends on the responses you provide per study. 

Profile surveys do not earn you any reward points, unless specified otherwise for a limited time only.These profile surveys are not paid by our clients and is only used to send you more surveys and more relevant surveys. You are requested to update these profile surveys every 6 months or every time there is a change in your interest or profile. 

 

WHY DO YOU NEED MY PERSONAL INFORMATION? 

We need personal information about you for a number of industry specific reasons. Most importantly, to tailor survey invitations to you and to closely monitor fraudulent activity. For example, to avoid bias our projects are evenly targeted by residential postcode or your age and occupation (as one example). 

To ensure optimum value of your time and opinion, we will invite you only to those surveys that best match your demographic profile and interests.  

As we have a two members per household rule (to again eliminate bias in our sample) we need your data to cross reference. Your information also allows ApiaryBuzz to communicate with you about your panel membership and survey participation.  

 

IS THERE A MINIMUM PERIOD OF MEMBERSHIP? 

No. While we look forward to your continued participation with  ApiaryBuzz, you will be under no obligation to sign up with us for a minimum period of time. Although we would be sad to see you go, you can delete your ApiaryBuzz Honeycomb account any time you wish.  

 

WHY DO I NEED TO SETUP MY SECURITY QUESTIONS? 

Security questions help in resetting your password and are essential during the frustrating moments when you cannot recall your password. Please note that we are unable to view your security questions and answers (due to security reasons), and hence we encourage you to please remember your password and answers to your security questions, as we won’t be able to reset your password at our end.

HOW CAN I RESET MY PASSWORD? 

If you have forgotten your password or need to reset it for any reason, click on “Forgot Password”from the Login page. You may need to answer your security questions to reset the password. 

 

WHERE CAN I EDIT MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION? 

You can change your profile information from your Honeycomb account page. To make any changesto your account page please follow these simple instructions: 

  1. After you log in to the app, click on the “Setting” menu,
  2. Select “Buzzer Profile”
  3. You can make changes to your profile information, under these tabs: “Basic”, “Personal”, “Household” & “Redeem” (swipe left to see all 4 tabs)

Note: You can edit the Postal Address field, click on the “REDEEM” tab (swipe left if required to see the tab, it’s next to “HOUSEHOLD” tab)

 

HOW DO I LEAVE APIARYBUZZ?

Whilst we hope you will enjoy being a member of the site, should you for any reason wish to leave then please visit the Privacy Policy page for instructions on how to delete your account. Please note that you will forfeit any points you have in your account if you delete your account.

HOW AM I NOTIFIED ABOUT NEW SURVEYS?

Every time we have a new survey for you to complete you may receive a notification on the ApiaryBuzz app, and you will be able to access the survey directly from the app, through a web browser which opens up within the app. You will also receive an email notifying you, and you will be able to access the survey straight from the email. In case you have not downloaded the app and also have unsubscribed out of our email or marked our email as spam, we are unable to notify you about any surveys. 

SURVEYS

WHAT KIND OF SURVEYS WILL I BE ASKED TO PARTICIPATE IN?

Based on the information given when you register with us, we will invite you to participate in surveys that match your demographic profile and interests. Our surveys are varied and give you an opportunity to express your opinion on a number of issues. You could be asked for your feedback on an organisation’s advertising, put forth your view on certain products or even do a virtual shopping expedition. Certain surveys may ask you to express opinion in your own words, while others would simply require you to click on your preferred options amongst many. Our clients and the surveys they put forth, come from categories as diverse as Consumer Goods, Information Technology, Healthcare, Travel & Tourism, Financial services, etc.

HOW OFTEN AM I GOING TO BE ASKED TO COMPLETE SURVEYS?

We are regularly sending out survey invitations, but cannot say who or when any member will receive invitations as each of our surveys is customised and based around the research goals for each individual client. Depending on your profile we may ask you to complete surveys more or less often than once per month. For this reason we ask you to keep your profile as up to date as possible. Please note some firewalls may prevent delivery of our survey invitations.

HOW LONG IS A TYPICAL APIARYBUZZ SURVEY?

The number of questions varies from one survey to another. We try to keep surveys as enjoyable as possible, although we have to make sure the results are meaningful. In general a survey invites range from 10 to 40 minutes. A typical ApiaryBuzz survey is about 25 to 30 minutes of in total. Some ApiaryBuzz surveys are very short and should only take you about five to seven minutes to complete. Occasionally, there will be longer surveys or surveys with more complex questions. Generally speaking, the longer the survey the more points it should offer. From time to time we run special projects for clients where the survey might be one or two hours and these are paid at a much higher level.

WHAT KIND OF INFORMATION DO YOU COLLECT ABOUT ME THROUGH THESE SURVEYS?

If you join the ApiaryBuzz panel community or participate in a survey, we will ask you for your name and address and perhaps the names of the other members of your household. We will ask you for some demographic details, such as your level of education, age and ethnicity (wherever allowed by local law). We will collect your viewing and/or buying behaviour and additional information from other companies that are allowed by law to provide such information to us.

HOW IS THE DATA COLLECTED BY APIARYBUZZ USED?

ApiaryBuzz researches what consumers watch, buy, their preferences, and behaviours. The more our clients know about consumers, the better they can tailor products and services to what you want and need. Data from ApiaryBuzz surveys are used by private and public companies and marketing agencies, government organisations, media, public affairs institutions, to reveal and analyse consumer and public opinion. The surveys we conduct are not intended to influence your opinion, but to measure them. Rest assured that when you answer a poll at ApiaryBuzz, your privacy is secure, and your responses do make a difference.

WHO PAYS FOR THESE SURVEYS & POLLS?

ApiaryBuzz conducts surveys for a diverse group of clients to help them better understand public opinion about consumer products and brands and public affairs. This helps companies make a difference to their products and services and serve you better.

CAN I CHOOSE NOT TO DO A PARTICULAR SURVEY?

Each survey we invite you for is based on a careful analysis of your profile and interests. However, if you do not wish to participate in a particular survey you could always choose not to participate in the survey. Hopefully, there will be other surveys that will interest you.

CAN I CHANGE MY RESPONSES TO A PARTICULAR SURVEY AFTER I’VE COMPLETED IT? 

You cannot change your responses to any question once you have answered the question and moved on to the next question, as it interferes with data integrity. Hence we request you to pay attention while taking a survey and answer each question truthfully and after deliberating on it properly. 

REWARDS & REDEMPTION

WHAT DO I GET FOR TAKING THE SURVEYS?

Each time you complete a client survey, you are rewarded with points which you can use to redeem any of our existing reward options once the required minimum is reached. Aside from getting points, you may also get other rewards like gifts or bonus points for limited period only or invitations to participate in other promotional activities like points for Most Valuable Player competition or an entry to our quarterly prize draw.  

Whilst profile surveys do not offer points, they will help you receive more survey opportunities. Profile surveys are not client surveys and hence there are no reward points. We may run some promotional activities, where profile surveys may be rewarded with points or other rewards. 

WHERE CAN I SEE MY POINTS?

You must be logged in to see your points. If you are logged in they will be visible in the dashboard of the home page.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR ME TO GET THE SIGNUP BONUS AFTER I SIGN UP AS A APIARYBUZZ MEMBER?

– For Signup you may receive bonus points or a physical voucher or an e-voucher, depending on the promotion period.
– In case of physical vouchers, it will be mailed out (by post / courier) to you within 30 working days upon successful sign up, verification of your account and identity. Please ensure that you input your postal address in your ApiaryBuzz Honeycomb Account correctly. Please produce your ID to at the time of delivery, to receive voucher. We do not allow your family members to collect the reward on your behalf. You can view the details of the sign up reward under “Redeem” menu, “Redeem” tab.
– In case of e-vouchers, it will be put up for redemption on your ApiaryBuzz Honeycomb Account within 30 working days upon successful sign up, verification of your account and identity. Please ensure that you input your email address in your ApiaryBuzz Honeycomb Account correctly, and you do not opt-out of receiving emails from ApiaryBuzz. Please also add ApiaryBuzz into your safe senders list in your email, so that the emails do not go to your Junk or Spam folders.
– In case of bonus points, the points will be credited to your account within 30 working days upon successful sign up, verification of your account and identity.

HOW MANY POINTS WILL I RECEIVE FOR COMPLETING A SURVEY?

The amount of points that can be earned for completing a survey is determined by the length of the survey. It will be stated at the beginning of the survey.

HOW MANY POINTS WILL I RECEIVE FOR COMPLETING A SURVEY MORE THAN ONCE? 

You will earn points or rewards only once per survey, unless specified otherwise. Most of our surveys are programmed in such a way that it cannot be completed more than once, to maintain the integrity of the survey data. However if you take a survey more than once, your account will be updated with points only once for that particular survey, and all other completion efforts will not be rewarded. We do not encourage our Buzzers to take the same survey more than once, unless required for a specific survey, as it is against the ethics of market research. 

 

CAN I REDEEM THE POINTS THE MOMENT I HAVE COMPLETED A SURVEY?  

When you have successfully completed a survey, the reward may be credited immediately or isusually held in pending status until the entire study has drawn to a close and the data has been processed. This will usually be mentioned at the beginning of the survey. 

Please keep in mind that studies can take up to a month or two to finish, depending on the size and complexity of the study. Your account will generally be credited within 8 weeks of successfully completing a survey and the closing of the entire survey. If you have not received your credit after 8 weeks or a credit you were expecting has not shown up in your pending credit, please contact us so that we can investigate the delay. 

HOW OFTEN WILL YOU UPDATE MY REWARDS ACCOUNT?

The rewards are credited at various times, depending on various factors. It may be credited immediately or at least once in a month on the first Monday of the month or the next working day. It may take up to 2 to 3 months to update rewards for some surveys, as mentioned earlier.

DO MY HONEYDROP POINTS EXPIRE?

Yes, your Honeydrop points will expire after 1 year. For certain reward points and rewards there will be a different expiry date which will be mentioned to you at the time of allocation of points or rewards.

IS THERE A MINIMUM THRESHOLD FOR REDEMPTION?

Yes, there is a minimum threshold for redemption of Honeydrop points and to convert it into cash or other rewards.

WHAT KIND OF REWARDS ARE OFFERED FOR PARTICIPATING IN SURVEYS?

When you take surveys, you accumulate points which can later be redeemed for cash or other great rewards. Some of the ways we reward our members may be (some of these options may not be available at all times):

Cash by deposit to your PayPal account or Digital wallets

Vouchers or e-vouchers to your local favourite grocery stores

Gift cards to your favourite stores and restaurants

Products or gifts

Lucky draws

Charity donation

Reward Disclaimer

Points have no value except when claimed by the account holder for redeeming a reward. Values of rewards, points required for a reward, and rewards offered may vary from time to time without notice.

We reserve the right to offer a substitute reward of equivalent value to the payment method you have chosen. This may occur if, for some unforeseen reason, we are unable to obtain your first choice of reward, e.g. the company issuing vouchers to us ceases to offer vouchers. We reserve the right to change the value of rewards paid for research, although it is not our intention to do this.

ApiaryBuzz reserve the right to make changes and corrections at any time, without prior notice.

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE SHIPPING AND HANDLING OF MY REWARD WHEN I REDEEM MY POINTS?

Participation in the panel community rewards program is completely free for you and in most cases, you will simply redeem your points on the reward of your choice and leave the delivery to us! In rare cases, the shipping and handling costs may have to be borne, this will be specifically noted on the website.

HOW WILL THE REWARDS/ CASH BE DELIVERED AFTER I PLACE A REDEMPTION REQUEST?

– Cash will be transferred into your PayPal account or digital wallet within 30 business days of the redemption request being received.
For physical vouchers, it will be mailed out (by post / courier) to you within 30 business days of the redemption request being received. Please produce your ID at the time of delivery to receive the voucher.
– For e-vouchers, it will be emailed to you or put up for redemption on your ApiaryBuzz Honeycomb Account within 30 business days of the redemption request being received.
– Rewards such as gift cards, products and other gifts and rewards will be delivered to your postal address within 30 business days of the redemption request being received. Please produce your ID at the time of delivery to receive the rewards. We do not allow your family members to collect the reward on your behalf.
– For certain rewards, you may be asked to self-collect from a specified location. The location may be our office or a different location within Singapore, as specified by us. Please produce your ID at the time of claiming the reward to receive the rewards. We do not allow your family members to collect the reward on your behalf.

WHAT KIND OF INFORMATION DO I NEED TO PROVIDE TO RECEIVE PHYSICAL / E-VOUCHERS? 

In order to ensure proper delivery, please input the following information in the ApiaryBuzz Honeycomb account page:

(1) Name as per NRIC / FIN / Passport / ID

(2) Last 4 digits of NRIC / FIN / Passport / ID

(3) Date of Birth

(4) Full postal address with PIN Code

(5) Mobile Number.  

HOW LONG ARE THE VOUCHERS & E-VOUCHERS VALID FOR?

Different vouchers and e-vouchers will have different validity periods, which will be mentioned on the e-voucher itself. We try and ensure that each voucher is at least valid for 3 months during delivery.

I AM NOT AT HOME TO COLLECT THE VOUCHERS OR GIFTS WHICH WAS MAILED TO ME, HOW DO I COLLECT IT?

After we send the rewards or vouchers by post to you, our delivery personnel will try to deliver it to you up to 2 times. If you have provided a phone number, the delivery personnel may call you to mention the timing of delivery. We encourage you to provide your phone number, so that the delivery personnel can coordinate with you. Please produce your ID at the time of delivery to receive the rewards. We do not allow your family members to collect the reward on your behalf.
If you are not present at the address at the time of delivery for collection of the reward, then the reward will be automatically rerouted to us.
You can call or email us and make an appointment to collect the vouchers in person from our office or the location specified by us. Please produce your ID to our staff in office to receive the reward. We will hold your reward for a total of 1 month from the date of 1st attempt of delivery.

I HAVE NOT REGISTERED MY CONTACT DETAILS IN MY APIARYBUZZ HONEYCOMB ACCOUNT YET, CAN I STILL REDEEM MY POINTS?

No, you need to first enter your contact details correctly in the ApiaryBuzz Honeycomb account before you redeem any rewards.

We will not be responsible for any information inserted upon joining or redeeming, thus we encourage you to always double check all data you enter into ApiaryBuzz.

THE REWARD I WANTED TO REDEEM IS NO LONGER IN THE REDEEM LIST OR IS SHOWING OUT OF STOCK?

All rewards are available for a limited time only, and only available to redeem during a specific period. We cannot guarantee that all rewards will be in stock all the time, and rewards are redeemed on a first come first served basis only. However you will always find some other new exciting rewards to redeem in the list.

REFFERAL PROGRAM

CAN I REFER MY OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS TO JOIN APIARYBUZZ?

We only allow two members per household to register with ApiaryBuzz. The members who join should be the persons who want to take most surveys. The good news is that other members of your family can still take our surveys! Look for invitations asking for opinions from “the teen in your household” or “the person who recently bought a headphone in the household” or “the male in your household”, etc., and ask the appropriate family member to respond. Any rewards and prizes other family members earn will be added to your account.

In case more than 2 members of the same household join ApiaryBuzz, we will notify all the individuals in the household, and leave the decision to the family to decide which account will be closed.

HOW DO I INVITE MY FAMILY & FRIENDS TO BECOME A MEMBER OF APIARYBUZZ?

Your account has a Referral Code mentioned in your profile, please share the referral code with your friends and family to join ApiaryBuzz. Please ensure your friends enter the referral code when they register with us, in the first page of the registration page. They also need to complete their profile information and Basic Profiler survey. In return, your reward points will be credited into your Honeycomb account.

HOW DOES THE REFERRAL PROGRAM WORK?

You will have your unique referral code after joining ApiaryBuzz. For every friend you refer, you will earn reward points if they join using your referral code and proceed to complete their panel profile and Basic Profiler survey. Updated Terms & Conditions for our Referral Program are effective as of 19th August 2019.

You will not receive any reward points if the referred members create their account without completing their panel profile and Basic profiler survey.

WHY I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY POINTS AFTER REFERRING FRIENDS?

Most chances are your referred friends have yet to verify their account, complete their profile information and/or the Basic Profiler survey. This is necessary for us to verify that they are genuine members before giving any reward points to you.

HOW DO I KNOW IF MY REFERRAL IS SUCCESSFUL?

You will know once the reward points are credited to your account. You will see the additional points on your homepage dashboard and history. Most likely your reward points will not show immediately, as it depends on how soon your friends proceed to complete their profile information and Basic Profiler survey.

In the event you do not receive any reward points after your referred friends have completed the necessary steps, please buzz us via email and we will look into it promptly.

DATA PRIVACY

DO YOU KEEP MY INFORMATION CONFIDENTIAL?

We deeply value your trust, and we protect the identities of our panelists. We use tools and methods, including data aggregation, to make sure that there is no reasonable possibility of identifying an individual panelist from the data in the reports that we create for our clients. Your responses will be used only for statistical tabulations, such as “60% of the users preferred this product” or “20% more men use this brand.” Your individual answers will never be revealed to anyone in a manner that reveals your identity.

We also create scientific reports based on modelled data. Modelled data is developed based on demographic and behavioural characteristics like your gender, age, TV watching habits, and the websites you visit to predict what people with similar or matching characteristics would watch or buy. We take precautions to ensure this data cannot be reverse-engineered to identify you.

HOW DO YOU SAFEGUARD MY INFORMATION?

We are very protective of your data. We follow PDPA and other global data protection policy standards and do not give your contact data to others for them to use for their own purposes. If we work with other companies to perform market research or to develop new products and it becomes necessary for them to have access to your contact data, they can access it only at our direction and cannot use it for their own purposes. They must also ensure that they will keep your data confidential and secure.

Keeping data secure and protecting panelist identity are essential to our success and credibility. We have established security measures, including encryption methods and internal and external access protocols, to help protect the security and confidentiality of your data while in our care.

WILL YOU GIVE MY INFORMATION TO TELEMARKETERS?

Absolutely not. The contact data that you give ApiaryBuzz is not given out for promotional purposes.

WILL I RECEIVE E-MAIL MESSAGES FROM ANYONE OTHER THAN APIARYBUZZ?

No. Under no conditions will ApiaryBuzz give, rent, or sell your e-mail address to anyone else or allow messages to be sent to you by third parties for anything unrelated to ApiaryBuzz.

We may only use third parties to contact you with information related to ApiaryBuzz, like surveys, newsletters, rewards and redemptions, lucky draw and other ApiaryBuzz related notifications.

We will NOT use your data to advertise, promote or market third-party goods or services directly to you, nor do we allow our clients to use your identifying data to market directly to you. However, if you see online ads from third parties, but this will simply be because you are an internet user and is completely unrelated to your participation as a panelist or survey respondent.

DO YOU MEASURE WHAT I DO ON MY COMPUTER OR MY MOBILE DEVICE?

Even though you download the app and participate in one of our online or mobile panel communities, the application that you install onto your device does not collect any data about what you do on your device or what you surf the Internet.

DO YOU COLLECT INFO ON JUST ME – OR MY WHOLE FAMILY? AND, WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?

With your explicit permission, we may collect data about your entire household when you take a survey or join a panel. Receiving data from your entire household helps provide a more robust understanding of consumer behaviour.

We take the privacy and safety of children very seriously. If we collect information about, or get opinion from minor children, we do so only with the consent of the child’s parent or guardian, which can be withdrawn at any time.

WHAT HAPPENS TO MY INFORMATION AFTER I’M NO LONGER A PANELIST?

ApiaryBuzz will retain panelists’ data so that we know who has been a panelist in the past, for legal (e.g., tax) reasons, or to support quality or security audits. Access to panelists’ identifying data is very limited, even within ApiaryBuzz. We use de-identified data about former panelists for market research purposes (e.g., tracking trends and changing consumer behaviour over a period of years), or to intentionally clutter data sets containing current panelists in order to help protect their identities. We may store former panelists’ data in its country of origin or abroad for such purposes, but our privacy practices described in our Privacy Policy apply in either case.

WHAT IF I WANT TO SEE OR DELETE THE INFORMATION YOU HAVE ON ME?

Simply contact us at dpo@innoprobeinsight.com and ask to view or delete this data at any time. If we have disassociated data about you from your identifying information, however, we may not be able to provide the data that has been de-identified. Please see our Privacy Policy for complete details.

I AM HAVING ISSUES WITH ACCESSING APIARYBUZZ 

We are sorry to hear that you are facing issues with ApiaryBuzz, and we will appreciate if you could email us with the following info: 

    1. When you faced the issue, were you using the ApiaryBuzz app or the web version of ApiaryBuzz? 
  1. Which phone are you using, is it an Android or iOS? Or were you accessing it from your computer? 

Our developers will then check and fix the issue accordingly and it will be resolved soon. 

 

I REGISTERED TO APIARYBUZZ, BUT HAVE NOT RECEIVED AN EMAIL ASKING ME TO VERIFY MY EMAIL? 

Please ensure you check the particular email which you provided during the registration process. 

Please check your spam or junk folder in case the email has reached those folders instead of inbox, in that case please also mark the email as “Not spam” and “Safe Sender” and add our email to your contacts.  

You can also check if you have deleted the email by mistake.  

Please also check that your email inbox is not full and not exceeded the storage capacity, in order for the email to be delivered successfully. 

In case you do not find the email anywhere in your inbox / spam / junk / bin, then please write in to us using the BUZZ US form in the website.  

There may be a chance that you entered a wrong email address or made a typo while you typed in your email address while registering, and hence the verification email did not reach you. In that case we are unable to reach out to you in any way, and the registration is considered invalid and will be deleted within 1 month. You may register with us again using a valid and correct email address. 

I CAN’T LOGIN TO MY ACCOUNT

Please make sure there are no blank spaces before or after you entered your email address or password. If you forget your password, please click on the ‘Forgot password?’ link on the homepage and enter your email address. Our system will send you a reminder for your password to help you log-in. If you still can’t log-in, please submit a question at the upper right hand section of this page and our Support Team will gladly assist you.

I HAVE ENTERED THE CORRECT DETAILS, BUT I STILL CAN’T LOGIN TO MY ACCOUNT

If you can’t login to your account successfully, you may have encountered a technical problem with our website. Please re-try the URL while paying close attention to filling in the right details. If you continue to experience problems, please send an email with the URL and pin code you are trying to login with, along with the following information and we will provide assistance:

The error message you are receiving (preferably with screenshot)

I CAN’T OPEN THE SURVEY LINK

If you received a faulty survey link, you may have encountered the following:

a) The deadline for answering this survey has ended. Our survey is usually valid only for 2 to 3 weeks, but some surveys may be valid only for 2 to 3 days and some quick polls may be valid only for a day.

b) We are facing some technical problems which cause the link to be faulty. We apologize for this problem. Please refresh the browser or check back later to resume your survey.

c) Try to access survey from page account by login into our websiteor app 

d) You may have opened the survey from both the website and app at the same time

 

I GOT AN ERROR WHILE TAKING A SURVEY 

We would request you to try opening the survey again from the same device you accessed it earlier.It may be due to a network issue and should be resolved once you start the survey again. 

Please ensure that the same survey is not open in both the ApiaryBuzz app and the ApiaryBuzz website at the same time, as it will create issues with submitting your responses and you may not receive points for completing the survey. In that case even though you complete the survey (even multiple times) your survey will not show as completed and / or will not receive the reward points. 

 

I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY REWARD POINTS AFTER TAKING A SURVEY 

When you have successfully completed a survey, the reward points may be credited immediately or may be assigned after the entire study has drawn to a close and the data has been processed, which may take up to 8 weeks. This will usually be mentioned at the beginning of the survey. 

In cases where the reward points are credited immediately, and you still do not receive the reward points after completion of the survey:  

    • One of the most common reasons is perhaps because your profile and responses did not match the exact requirements for that particular survey and it is not considered a successful complete.  
    • It may also be because other Buzzers have already completed the survey and the total numbers required for the survey was already fulfilled before you could take the survey.  
    • You may also receive a quality-failed status even after completing the survey. This means that you did not pass our automated survey quality control procedures, and will not likely to receive any points after completion of the survey. There could be due to reasons such as speeding through the survey without paying attention to answering the questions, selecting same rating questions repeatedly or flat-lining, or not answering attention check questions correctly that are usually asking in simple logic format(for e.g. matching text to picture or arithmetic questions). These would not be what we desire as we need ensure that the data we will be collecting will have high level of quality.
  • Please also ensure that the same survey is not open in both the ApiaryBuzz app and the ApiaryBuzz website at the same time, as that may cause the system to not allocate reward points. 

There may be other reasons why you have not received any reward points after taking a survey, so please contact us to evaluate the specific situation, if you do not receive the points even after 8 weeks of survey completion. 

 

AM NO LONGER RECEIVING ANY EMAILS FROM APIARYBUZZ 

You may have unsubscribed or opted-out from receiving emails from our email before, or marked our email as spam. 

Please check your spam or junk folder in case the emails has reached those folders instead of inbox, in that case please also mark our email as “Not spam” and “Safe Sender” and add our email to your contacts. 

You can also check if you have deleted our emails by mistake.  

Please also check that your email inbox is not full and not exceeded the storage capacity, in order forour emails to be delivered successfully. 

 

I AM NO LONGER RECEIVING ANY NOTIFICATIONS ON MY APIARYBUZZ APP 

You may have turned off the notifications on the app, please check the Settings on your mobile phone to turn it on. 

 

RECEIVED ONLY VERY FEW INVITES TO SURVEYS 

We only send surveys based on your interests, and hence you need to complete and update the profile surveys to let us know about what will be of interest to you. The profile surveys will help us to send you more surveys based on those interest areas. 

 

I HAVE FORGOTTEN MY PASSWORD AND HAD NOT SET UP MY SECURITY QUESTIONS EARLIER
